Tony & Nick's

Located in the heart of Ellenville’s burgeoning Restaurant Row, Tony & Nick’s is a successful family-owned restaurant. The cuisine, restaurant, and brand are inspired by the family’s passion and love of Italy, particularly Tuscany, which they have visited many times to draw culinary inspiration from and adapt to back home. This inspired the logo and identity creation, consisting of a proprietary logotype combined with a unique ampersand drawn to suggest an olive branch or vine, which was then used separately as a secondary branding device. The Tuscan aesthetic also informed the brand colors, comprising a rich olive green, terracotta, and mocha brown. As a client for several years, we have continued to partner with them to create and manage all their branding, marketing communications and website.

With an expansive menu and the user experience firmly in mind, we recommended and created an accessibility-compliant single-page scrolling website, allowing the user to view the page and menu sections using an anchor tag navigation system that kept the viewer on the page and not have to wait for additional pages to load, etc. Menus were also made available as PDF downloads for those preferring to read offline or print out. We also developed an online reservation booking system and integration with Slice to facilitate online ordering and delivery.
