FDR Hyde Park Foundation

The Franklin D. Roosevelt Hyde Park Foundation promotes the legacies of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt by supporting the preservation and enhancement of the National Historic Sites at Hyde Park, New York. Their mission is to advance the Roosevelt legacy and support the National Park Service in conserving and enhancing the lands and buildings associated with the Roosevelt family on four sites in Hyde Park, the 32nd President’s home. Although their logo had already been designed, we worked with them to create a broader awareness of the organization and stimulate supplemental funds through donations via a new website, newsletter, social media, email marketing, and promotional videos.

We worked with the Foundation on a complete redesign of their website. The strategy was to create a more informative, immersive, and engaging user experience. On our suggestion, we created a quarterly online newsletter, The New Deal,  to connect with their audiences on all the latest news about their initiatives at the historic sites along with their partners, the National Park Service. For accessibility, a PDF download was created for those who prefer to read offline or from a printout. A news archives page was also created, a central silo for all their news articles that were shareable via email or on social media pages. Email campaigns keep all their subscribers updated with current events and news.
